Just in from Osaka is an interesting and unique take on the classic A1 flight jacket by Ring Jacket in a Fair Isle-like style in light gray. It is a chunky knit and definitely keeps helps with keeping warm in cold weather,
It is no mystery that we are big fans of tweed at the Armoury. Other than its beautiful textures and colors, it is actually one of the worlds first performance fabrics! Its tight and sturdy weave can brave the thickest of brushes, and its heavy weight keeps the wearer warm and its weave helps the wearer not overheat. Come the wet, cold weather, and the fibers swell up and lock in the warmth.
Pictured here is a rendition in Blackwatch Harris Tweed - Available at the Armoury in the 184 sportscoat model featuring soft unpadded shoulders and patch pockets.
May the winter and cold weather come soon!
The new winter fabric from Ring Jacket draws inspiration from the summer cotton seersucker. Featuring the dimpled and puckered look that give seersucker its unique aesthetic and functional qualities, this new fabric is done in wool and a tighter weave, retaining its beautiful texture but keeping the heat in.
Available now at the Armoury as in Ring Jackets 184 sportscoat model with patch pockets and their soft unpadded shoulders.
